蔡總統今天上午在總統府接見索羅門群島總理蘇嘉瓦瑞（Manasseh Sogavare）伉儷，蔡總統說，蘇嘉瓦瑞除了致力於振興經濟，也通過防治家暴和土地改革相關法案，讓索羅門群島展現新的氣象。
蔡總統說，蘇嘉瓦瑞非常關切各相國際重要議題，包括自由民主、人權保護、氣候變遷、和平穩定等，這是雙方共嘉義英文補習班 職業 英文 簽證享主流價值，也是我們友誼最堅實基石。
她特別感謝索羅門群島長期以來在國際社會替台灣發聲、給予台灣堅定支持，兩國有33年深厚友誼，如同蘇嘉瓦瑞說過，台灣不僅是索羅門群島承平時期的夥伴，也是困頓時期真實的友人。
蔡總統說，多年來台灣持續在鄉村發展、農業醫療衛生以及人力資源各領域提供索羅門群島必要協助，相關成果廣泛且獲得索羅門群島肯定，她也期待雙方將來可以有更積極發揮經濟合作方面潛力，促進產業界合作。
她說，索羅門總理府秘書長王哲夫（JosephWaleanisia）將出任索羅門群島派駐中華民國大使，相信有助於加強雙方經貿文化和其他領域合作關係，也希望未來兩國互動可以更密切多元。1050725
